Extremely honored to be participating in two group shows in the coming month, both of which are entirely populated by artists who I greatly admire, and have taught me a lot about how to find my footing and voice as an artist.
The first of these, Re:Iterate, opens on Thursday, October 12th, with a reception from 5:00-8:00 at the Kerrytown Concert House in Ann Arbor (the listing has 4:00-6:00 for the reception, but I am assured that it is, in fact, 5:00-8:00), and runs through November 5th, during the KCH open hours (it will be up throughout this year’s EdgeFest), or by appointment.
I am joining a powerhouse group: Andrew “Andy T” Thompson, Michael Nagara, Megan Heeres, and Nancy Wolfe. I’ll be debuting a set of new works dealing with one of my perennial themes: matters of the heart. Here’s a few sneak peeks of work in progress, but as my heart is a changeable creature, I reserve the right for thing to turn out a bit differently by the show’s opening.
Hope to see you there!
