EDITION/15 opening this Saturday @ Simone DeSousa Gallery!

For all those looking to break up their holiday shopping weekend with a high culture infusion, consider dropping in to Simone DeSousa Gallery this Saturday, November 28th, for the opening of the new group show and first-year holiday tradition, EDITION/15.

The exhibition furthers the gallery’s mission to engage and nurture a new audience of contemporary art collectors, as well as explore the various dialogues occurring between art and design today. I’ll be showing 3 series of embroidered works, in small batch editions of 5 each–as well as some small sculptural works. Every piece is unique and has a story all its own, reminding us that even creatures as stoic as trees have rich interior lives. Here’s a sneak peek:
