Interview with Carole Harris for BOMB Magazine

I am thrilled that the Fall 2024 issue (#169) of BOMB has hit the stands, featuring, among other things, an excerpt from an extensive interview between myself, curator Stephanie James, and everyone’s favorite textile artist, Carole Harris. This is part of the Oral History Project that seeks to capture the living stories of influential African-American artists in a complete and artist-directed way. I was honored to be invited by Carole to participate, learned a lot in the process, and think the results are a terrific read. The full interview will be housed online, but a fascinating snippet is available in the print edition! Check it out!
